It's an all-purpose vegetable sponge! Once wet, the loofah sponge becomes supple enough to fulfill its function. Its main function is to exfoliate the skin. It can be used to wash fruits and vegetables, as well as surfaces such as toilets, kitchens, pots and dishes. Our luffa sponges, made in Mexico, can generally be used for up to 4 months before needing to be replaced. As a fruit, our loofah is 100% biodegradable and compostable. It measures 13 cm.
